IP Camera systems
IP, or Internet Protocol camera systems receive and send digital video footage via an IP network. This allows them to operate via a local network setup rather than requiring a local recording device.
HD & 4K Cameras
HD cameras are capable of capturing high definition video surveillance footage up to 1080p resolution while 4K camera systems can provide four times the resolution of HD at 2,073,600 pixels.
Analogue CCTV
Analogue closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV) offer video recording over cable to VCRs or DVRs and require a local recording device to store the footage.
